The Malaysian Blockchain Association will convene blockchain technology experts at the heart of Southeast Asia for Bloconomic 2018 (Blockchain Economic Summit) on August 16 and 17 at the Connextion Conference & Event Centre in Kuala Lumpur. The organizer expects more than a thousand attendees representing different sectors involved in the Fintech industry, including government sectors, research institutions, and financial companies, among others.
Discussions will revolve around the real-use applications of blockchain technology in the Southeast Asian region and beyond. Prominent speakers will tackle topics regarding the future of blockchain in the supply chain industry, global payment services, travel, healthcare, and other areas.
