Blockchain Expo Europe was successfully held from 19-20 July 2019 and welcomed over 8,200 delegates. It will return next year as part of the World Series.
Thank you for attending the Blockchain Expo Amsterdam 2019! The conference took place in RAI Amsterdam, with over 8,200 delegates joining together for the co-located Blockchain, IoT Tech, AI & big data and Cyber security Expo.
It was imperative for us to explore the entire Blockchain ecosystem over the 2-day expo. We included 6 tracks covering: Blockchain for Enterprise, Blockchain Platforms and Strategies, Cryptocurrency and Financial Services, Developing Blockchain Applications, Blockchain for Business, Blockchain Technologies, Blockchain Workshops and Innovation & Investors Zone.

Day one kick started with the popular Blockchain solutions for Enterprise track, featuring talks and panels from Carrefour, IBM, Hugo Boss, Hyperledger, VW. Day 2 invited Porsche Digital Lab, Levono, Consensys, DHL, EEA, KMPG and Microsoft, to highlight just a few. This track was tremendously popular both days as speakers offered their expertise across a wide range of industries.
Blockchain Platforms and Strategies track invited professionals from bp, HSBC, Factom, IBM & The British Blockchain Association who discussed interoperability and adoption of Blockchain within different platforms, and the governance surrounding it.
Day 2 retained the buzz from Day 1, with 3 more Blockchain tracks to visit. The most common track, Fintech, Securities and Regulations, explored the infinite opportunities of blockchain technologies in the financial sector, including speakers from Credit Suisse, APG, Blockchain News, AXA investments, Zurich, etoroX and the London Stock Exchange Group.
Blockchain for Business & Enterprise Technology Solutions, our free tracks, explored how Blockchain technology has the potential to transform businesses in sectors as varied as healthcare, financial, government, manufacturing, music and more.
The expo also offered space for Meetups, which Ravencoin utilised end of Day 1. Following the closure of the RAI after a successful first day, it was then on to the networking party at The Beach Bar, a short stroll away. Even when the heavens opened briefly, drinks were flowing celebrating the day, and glasses clinking with the sound of new connections made in the Blockchain world.
